Yes, another of the Dark Age 2 staff has finally finished the game!
Considering I was one of the first (if not THE first) to own the full-game this is probably pretty disgraceful ...
But back in October/November(ish) I got far, but stuck on Raze when you get your dragon powers. I tried and tried, got fed up, and put the game away for a long time.
Only a few days ago did I finally re-install it, and only today did I finally start playing it again!
But once Raze was out of the way (after some hefty experiencing) I hesitate to say it was all plain-sailing.
The last castle is pretty awesome, with tricky but not impossible puzzles and some great bosses! I must say I thought the final Raze was a little easy, but Darken was a good challenge! I was starting to run very low on resources when he finally fell ...
But overall I didn't have too harder a time. Mind you, my secrets score was pathetic (14%) ... :-) ... and I didn't really explore the final world much.
I suppose now I need to install this upgrade and try and beat this elusive Hades and stronger version of Darken ...
But not tonight. I've played too much of the game tonight!
For those interested I'm not entirely sure of my final stats, but I had over 30,000 power, about 70 attack, defence and magic, ~40 of the elements and about 9500 HP. Funny, when I started today I only had about 8,000 power!
