Poll(s) Broke?

Its strange, i can vote more then once for almost all the polls I've seen. It seems to reset after awhile or something and i can vote again.
Are you using sessions, cookies or doing a database / php function to see when the IPs last voted? (Maybe you should make it where an IP can only vote once per poll?)
Wondering if its just me or something...
