Virtually all of DAII's accessories are useless because they work in fixed numbers (e.g. ATK + 3, DEF - 1). Later in the game, such minute differences are extremely pointless, and I tend to keep the same accessories the whole game: one to increase my speed (which you can't increase otherwise) and the T Scale or Charm Pin depending on whether I'm fighting a boss or avoiding enemies.
