Still totally inapplicable.
Depends on if you're coding a simple HTML site versus a dynamic login-based submission site on one end, and coding a quick game that uses the default battle system versus a 30 hour epic with everything custom. Like... comparing baseballs to... tacos or something. (Heh...)
And they both have their bugs (though I haven't tried the latest TK3 yet). On the web design end you have to deal with the fact that every web browser is at least somewhat retarded. (Heh...)
Equally easy/difficult, then? Really depends on what you're trying to do with each.
PHP vs. ASP is a valid comparison. RPG Code vs. Game Maker's script (whatever its called) is a valid comparison. PHP vs. RPG Code doesn't really make sense.
