In the DAX Promo, the figures are supported by a wire that I edit out of every frame with Photoshop.
Older stuff like Mystic Sword is just camera placement. I'll have the wire off-screen or have them standing on blocks with their feet below the camera level, etc.
Hope that helps! Now I'm interested in seeing some of your work. Any chance of that?
