Nope.
If you would actually take a look at MrG's, you would find that his was rather lame, while mine is much more rain-like. (Heh...)
If you want to make the argument that he was first, then I can say that everyone who uses a translucent message window, cursor, or 3D battle background stole the idea from my first DA2 screenshots years ago (including CBM, heh...)
