The ST Guard error was a little thing I should have caught in the last patch (heh...).
For the item command dissapearing in battle, did you happen to run from the first battle in the arena guantlet? This patch will prevent that from happening. If you saved with the command gone, just go the arena and fight all the way to the end. After the battle is over, everything should be back to normal.
As for the elemental blades, I can't seem to find a problem. Could you describe exactly what's happening, and what you do to cause it? If possible, try taking a screenshot of it.
