Heh...all of my stories sound cool in theory, but then I can never get it fleshed out and actually come to love it...so yeah. I hear ya on shelving DA3. I'm still kicking my ass over some projects of mine that had potential and I TOSSED the notebooks with the design doc stuff in them *sigh*
