I use Game Maker most of the time(except when making RPGs of course), and when I first tried to make an RPG with it, I said, "[swearwords filtered out by InstilledBee]!!!". I mean, you have to code manually, the BS, the menu system, and even, well, just about everything. And heck with the TK, it already gives you a free BS and MS as a bonus(?).
To further exaggerate the comparison, I wasn't able to finish the RPG on Game Maker because it was too difficult. I did finish some games on the TK(but it was still too crappy for TKZone "standards"; don't get me started on that one again).
Just my two cents. (Heh...)
