See, the DA2 battle system is a 1v2 system, and Dark Age has 5 characters active at one time. Sure, Xorlak could mod his DA2 system to a 3v3 and have tag-team, but would he really want to do that?
It's easier to make a whole new system then to do a > 75% mod to an existing one.
