I have decided to listen to Xorlak's advice from 1 1/2 years ago. I'm going to make Eternal Blade more of a tribute to FF using all default systems, then when that is done, I'll make another game (working title is Eternal Blade 2: Rise of the Forgotten)(story still under development). The next game will be like DA2 in many ways...100% original, and I'll have a "Flirt System" that will incorperate ALL females in the game...NPC's, whether peasant or royalty. Even the female shopkeepers. This WILL affect the ending. I'm planning on having one character that won't respond to the hero until he accomplishes a VERY complex side quest, and being successful with her will get the best ending. Of course, I could incorperate that into Eternal Blade, if that sounds good. Oh, and the chess game will only be in the second game.
And you guys may not like this...but I might make a Rough Draft of Eternal Blade using RM2k and the RTP...just so I can get my ideas solid before making the TK version. I'll still give you guys the TK version and not the RM2k version, of course. If the RM2k version works well, however, then I'll probably stick with that and not make a TK version of Eternal Blade. Game 2 will be pure TK, tho. Hopefully with TK3 if it is more stable.
