Most of DA2's WAVs I found on the internet. (By ripped, I meant the obvious console games. Heh...) Some of them I modified. I was able to make a few (like the falling sound effect and the bite sound) by generating a tone in Ace of Wav and applying several filters to it.
I've since moved on to Audacity, which is a much better WAV editor.
