Right-click on the shortcut that's taking you to the wrong game, click on 'properties', then the 'shortcut' tag on top.
For Dark Age EX, the "target" field should be:
"C:\Program Files\Dark Age EX\trans2.exe"
and the "start in" field should be:
"C:\Program Files\Dark Age EX"
Change those if they're wrong (keep the quotation marks).
For DA2, they should be:
"C:\Program Files\DarkAge2\trans2.exe"
and
"C:\Program Files\DarkAge2"
(Assuming you kept the defaults when installing.)
