The xorlakishness of these games is their "spark of God"...

Tons of games are ruined by expansion packs which try to "continue" their story, sometimes even by the authors...

Compare first game of Blood Omen series - Legacy of Kain - with the last - Defiance...

The last one makes absolutely no sense and keeps f*** about time travel and fate, fate, fate, of course so idioticaly put that the most hated enemies become friends in the end because fate wants that, generally turning things upside down, which has nothing to do with first meaning of the first game - to show something - it just becomes a cash machine for the producers and stupid children say stupid stuff like "I wonder why THIS and not THIS happened in the plot?"

The true is, the plot is so scr*** up I no longer care what they do. I've lost reputation to makers of these games since in the second game - Soul Reaver - they altered the ending so that the main villain does not die (as well as cutting 50 other things because "fans demanded a game" and they had no time to code that in) just to get more money by making a sequel.

"Xorlak is the most powerful, evil, vile and feared dark wizard known to man!"
