I was just joking with ya.
The problem was that I was passing a variable along with the post to check whether it is a reply to a news post and should update the news post's reply count. But I had to do it a different way if you came to a new's post's reply via the front page link, and something got messed up in there. Anyway, that was a hackish way of doing it and I should have done it the way I'm doing it now in the first place. So yeah, thanks for pointing out that bug. (Heh...)
