I sort of liked Sphere.  Even though it's basically just a tile engine and you have to code pretty much everything yourself (even how you save your game.  Heh...)  I was sort of turned off when I checked their site a few months ago and found the software hadn't been updated for a year and a half (when I last played around with it), though.

RPG Maker - Yeah I heard it's pirated and therefore I couldn't sell anything made with it, so I didn't even bother.

Game Maker 6.1 looks good.  I have yet to play around with this latest version, though.

Fury2 looks good, but I have no VB experience at all and don't really feel like learning VB script just to evaluate the engine at the moment (Heh...)

Actually never heared of RPGA.  I'll check into it sometime.

Finally, the latest version of TK3 impressed me.  Still some minor bugs and it's too slow sometimes, though.

Anyway, you can all rest assured my decision will be in YOUR best interests.  (Heh...)

(And why did my comment counter suddenly stop working?  Hmmm...)
