Usually just leveling up will get you past a boss. Darius learns Falling Cut at level 22, which can be fun (heh...). Charge that move up while fighting a weak enemy so you can unleash it first thing on the boss. Vance's Blast and Erik's Golem should also work well, but Vance will likely need to heal the party more often. Also make sure you stock up on items in town.
