Finaly beat it. Not to run around striking enemies, I made a trip through some previously skipped chests in the cave... and say what, with Slow Mortis is ridiculously evil.
Which is somehow an unbalance...
It also seems that using gem glove bug, you can keep buying gem gloves and equipping them to boost HP infinitely.
Ps. Erik changing to golem is quite a suprise, I always viewed golem as something inanimate...
