The entire soundtracks for both Dark Age 2 and Dark Age EX are now up for download as individual track links. Also just for fun I put up enemy sprite dump pages for both games.

Enjoy!

Dark Age News - 5-17-2010

Hey folks!

Out of nowhere site overhaul!!

First, I must apologize to the nostalgic folks. But the old website was simply just... horrifying to look at and navigate. (Frankly it was getting to the point where I was just plain embarrassed to link to my games because the blasted website was so outlandishly bad.) So I whipped up a design that I think looks decent while keeping the whole Dark Age spirit intact. So now I have a nice, permanent site to show off these old classics.

Some new features you might be interested in are a News RSS Feed and Message Board RSS. Should help keep those of us who still poke around the board connected and alert you next time I decide to come out of the blue and post an update.

I'm sure folks are wondering if a massive site overhaul suggests another game in production. Don't want to start any rumors here-- Nope, nothing at the moment. Subscribe to the RSS though, and I'll post if I ever get back into it!

Dark Age News - 10-20-2008

Hey folks,

If you're reading this, that means the domain has switched to the new server. There were some bugs I had to iron out since the site's code is so old and we're running on a newer version of PHP now, so let me know if something no longer works.

It's been a long time since I've posted an update and it's probably obvious to any faithful visitors that I've retired from game development. I've made two complete games (three if you want to count the remake) and after taking an extended vacation (and doing much thinking) I realize I feel completely satiated. My work here is done!

I will of course remain in touch as I always have for game questions, though I will admit finer details have started to become foggy with age. (Heh...) I just moved this site to the same server as some of my current ones, so no worries about it disappearing any time soon. In fact, fans of my medieval/fantasy/magic style of writing may be interested in my webcomic. It's kind of like Dark Age with cartoon animals.

That's it! Thanks for reading, thanks for commenting, thanks for buying, thanks for sending in bug reports, thanks for patiently waiting, thanks for being so faithful... and thanks for playing!

- Xorlak

P.S. Somebody email me when someone makes a game bigger than DA2, will ya? (Heh...)
