I had a lot of fun with the original Dark Age back when I was getting to know the Toolkit, but alas, it was a somewhat rushed practice game that used the Toolkit's defaults (which includes an older, buggier default battle system than the current TK2, heh...). After Dark Age 2 was finished, I took some time off from game making to think about what I'll be doing next. I hadn't recovered the stamina to start the next big one just yet... so I thought a sort of medium sized project would be good. Enter Dark Age EX:

Dark Age EX is a remake of the first Dark Age (still in TK2). The primary goal was the replacement of all the default systems with custom programming. The re-release also features many graphical and musical improvements, a few extra secrets, and of course a gaping plot hole or two filled (heh...).

Unlike Dark Age 2, Dark Age EX still contains some ripped elements. The full game remains completely free. So don't delay, download today!
